A village with a population of 250; incorporated in 1868 and located in
the northwestern part of Bracken county, 5 miles from Brooksville, the
county seat, and 10 from Falmouth, the nearest railroad station,
on the Kentucky Central R. R. Its chief shipments are tobacco and
hogs. Tri-weekly mail. A. P. McClanahan, postmaster.
