Ernest Weitkamp was born in Prussia in 1845.  His youth was spent in that country, and he came, at the age of twenty-one, to Cincinnati; to Dayton in 1875.  Since 1878 he has been in the commission business in Cincinnati.  He was married in 1969 to Miss Elizabeth Meckstroth, and has six children.

 Mr. Weitkamp is serving his fourth consecutive term in the school board, where his intimate knowledge of school affairs and his sound judgment make him one of the valuable members.
