B. H. Woodbury was born in Newport, but has lived in Dayton for forty
years. He was first in the coal business but from 1875 to 1882 was in the
South in river business. Returning, he bought a mineral water company in
Newport, and is still in that trade: the "W & B: mineral water cases are
seen everywhere. In 1883, Mr. Woodbury married Miss Bird Ella Stamper, of
Covington, and they have one son. Mr. Woodbury is a Mason, and was a
charter member of the I.O.O.F.
The GAR (a short history of the organization is

it's annual encampment in Dayton in September,1898. All of the
Dayton images and texts dated 1898 are from the souvenir booklet prepared
for the occasion.
