William H. Hill, son of Daniel and Nettie Hill, of Warsaw, Kentucky.
He attended the schools of that city. When he was twelve years of
age his father died. Thrown out of school and with the burdens of
the family on his youthful shoulders, he went to work like a man, and when
able, brought to this city [Cincinnati] his his mother, sisters and
brothers. As prosperity dawned upon him he bought for his family the
old homestead in Warsaw, Kentucky. Mr. Hill married Miss Gladys Gill, of
Clarkesville, Tennessee, who has stood by him nobly in his battles for
success. For seven years he has been in the undertaking business in
this city, and his progress shows what energy and business ability will do
to overcome obstacles and misfortunes. He belongs to the Masons,
Tabors, Pythians and ranks with the leading Elks in the United States,
having been president of the Ohio state association. His office is
located at 630 West Fifth Street.
