Great Ball of Fire

Williamstown, Ky., June 6. - Saturday afternoon about 3 o'clock what appeared to be a blaze of fire three or four feet in diameter passed over the country south of town, going in a northeast direction. The object appeared to be not more than 200 feet or 300 feet above the surface of the earth and traveled quite slowly until it disappeared behind a high hill. Quite a number of reputable people saw the object, among them being J. W. Webb, deputy Sheriff of Grant county.
