Rock Dale
	A post office in the southeastern part of Owen County, 18 miles from Owenton, the county seat, 20 from Payne's station, on the Lexington branch of the L. C. & L. R. R., and 103 by rail from Louisville.  Its principal product and export is tobacco. Weekly mail.  Population of the precinct, 300.  John R. Foster, postmaster
