Grand Jury Adjourns After Futile Effort to Bring Barn Burners to Justice

The special grand jury impaneled by Judge Cammack to investigate the barn burning and other acts of depredation by "Night Riders" near New Liberty last week adjourned Saturday after a three days effort to bring these parties to justice.  Their report says they examined many witnesses but they failed to disclose any evidence upon which to base an indictment. They recommend that the next grand jury take up the work, and that a determined effort be made to disclose the identity of those who engaged in this raid.
