| Our understanding is that Stepstone was actually a few miles north of Carntown, and a few miles south of what used to be Ivor. What is known these days as Ivor Road used to go towards the river where it ran to the Ivor train station. The Moscow ferry crossed to river to the Ivor train station. Motier was an earlier name for Carntown. | |
